One of the biggest attractions of the city of Cadiz are it’s many beaches. Heading to the beach in Cadiz during the summer has been a past time of the locals for centuries. Each beach is special in different ways. Santa Mara del Mar beach is a continuation of the Victoria beach and begins between the old and the new parts of Cadiz. It is the next beach after La Caleta. The promenades that run along the beaches are usually surrounded by beach bars, restaurants and even some popular fast food restaurants such as Burger King or Mcdonalds where tourists and beachgoers can consume what they want. It is becoming fashionable to go out in the nearby bars.
