Jovsi is a 460 ha large area of marshy meadows along the Sotla River between Kapelske gorice. They are protected as a natural monument and a Natura 2000 site. Due to natural resources and extensive agriculture, many rare and endangered plant and animal species have found their habitat here.
Greenery at the confluence of the Sava and Krka, thermal springs, vineyards and rich architectural heritage – this is why Brežice is known to many as the place where different worlds come together.
